FORDE ABBEY, CHARD, SOMERSET, TA20 4LU
16 JUNE - 27 OCTOBER 2017
Curated by Flow Gallery 'A Landscape of Objects' is a site specific exhibition in which featured artists respond to the rural landscape and gardens at Forde Abbey. Artists span different media and include Anne Marie O’Sullivan, Tom McWalter and Vezzini & Chen. Eleanor will create a new series of forms in wood - referencing water and the shapes and textures within the Forde Abbey gardens.
A second element to the project is a residency featuring artists Kaori Tatebayashi and Katie Spragg. The resulting work will be exhibited within the house at Forde Abbey for Somerset Art Week from 23 September.
'A Landscape of Objects' is curated by Flow Gallery, commissioned by Somerset Art Works, hosted by Forde Abbey and funded by Arts Council England Grants for the Arts Lottery programme.
