For the 15th Anniversary edition of PAD London, Sarah Myerscough Gallery will present ‘Chamber’ featuring scorched work in burr by Eleanor Lakelin.
"...a global survey of material-led, specialist endemic design. Chamber speaks to the abundance of the earth from which our artist-designer-makers sustainably source and grow their materials: clay, wood, grasses, and metals. It also expresses the intimacy of a place made entirely our own, inhabited by furniture and objects crafted with respect and material intelligence. Our curation evokes the particular richness of a private, quiet space, and how it feels to live with designs imbued with the unique soulfulness inherent to works so connected to the natural world."
